Halloween Trick or Treating Destinations in Brooklyn

Trick or Treat! Where will your kids fill their buckets and pillowcase with candy this year?

By Macaroni Kid Brooklyn NW October 9, 2026

Throw on the costume and join your kids for trick or treating around the community on Halloween! Trick or treating usually starts around 3pm and ends around dusk or whenever folks run out of candy. Feel free to simply wander local streets in search of participating neighbors or join a friend in an apartment high-rise; in Brooklyn, it's a bounty of candy riches!

The DOT's Open Streets map features pedestrianized streets and the DOT is expected to announce popup activations across the borough for Halloween day.
